Delegation from the College Visits CHD Power Plant Operation Co., Ltd for Research and Exchange

On October 25th, President Li Lin of the college, accompanied by the heads of the Foreign Exchange Center and the Recruitment and Employment Office, a delegation of five, visited CHD Power Plant Operation Co., Ltd (hereafter referred to as the Company). They were warmly received by the company’s General Manager, Mr. Cheng Yanlin. Mr. Zhang Kaili, Deputy General Manager of Huadian Operations, along with heads of relevant departments, participated in the discussion symposium.

 

President Li Lin outlined the college's overall development, internationalization efforts, and the model for cultivating international talent. He expressed the desire for both parties to engage in deeper collaboration in the future on joint international talent development, vocational standard construction, and the creation of the  "China-Cambodia Modern Craftsman College of Green Energy".Such initiatives aim to jointly foster international talents and local technical professionals that are in high demand by Chinese enterprises, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and rapport among the people.

 

General Manager Cheng Yanlin expressed his gratitude for the college's longstanding support and assistance, and provided an overview of the Company. He noted that the company is actively engaged in the "Belt and Road" initiative and places a high value on its collaboration with the school. Mr. Cheng articulated a vision for both entities to explore innovative partnerships, synergize their efforts, and continue the "Chinese Language + Vocational Skills" training programs, skills certification, and professional qualification evaluations. The aim is to consistently elevate the Chinese language proficiency and vocational expertise of the company’s Cambodian employees, thereby contributing fresh impetus to the development of new growth paradigms.

 

This exchange symposium has strengthened the collaborative relationship between the college and the Company. Moving forward, the college plans to extend the strategies and insights gained from its partnership with CHDOC (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. to its branches in Vietnam, Indonesia, and beyond. This initiative is aimed at supporting the international expansion of Chinese enterprises and promoting the global outreach of China's hydroelectric vocational education.
